* Sarso ka Saag and Makke Ki Roti, this is from Punjab, Sarso ka Saag (mustared Green Leaves) Makke Ki Roti (chapati of Maize flour). The dish is a symbol of Punjab. Punjab is known for its many tasty cuisines, and this is one of them.





* Aloo-Posto, this is an identity of West Bengal. Scarcely any family is there who do not like Aloo Posto. Aloo means potato and Posto means poppy seeds used as a spice in West Bengal.

* Litti Chokha, is a symbolic dish of Bihar. It is famous across the country. Litty is made by stuffing spicy and flavorful Sattu in wheat flour dough and cooked by direct heating in the fire. Chokha is smashed potato, mixed in coriander leaves, green chilli, chopped onion, etc.

* Momos, no one is unknown in India about Momos. It is a dish from Sikkim yet it is found in every nook and street in India. There is a variety of Momos, Veg Momos, Chicken Momos, Paneer Momos, fried Momos, Kurkure Momos, and many more. There are as many varieties as there is demand for it. It is cooked by steaming. Ingredients are put in Maida dough and steamed and eaten with red Chutney, green chutney, and mayonnaise.

* Dhokla, is the symbolic dish of Gujarat and is very famous in India. It can be found in every sweet shop. It is made with Besan (gram flour) and served with ketchup or sweet chutney.

* Pongal, is a staple meal of Tamil Nadu. It is cooked on every special occasion in Tamil Nadu. It is cooked with some rules and rituals. It is cooked in an open space, under the sunlight. it is served in banana leaves and offered to the Sun god first.

* Dal Bati Churma, is a very well-known, recognized, and heard dish. It is special for its crunchy Baties (a bowl-shaped eatable thing) dipped in Shudh Desi Ghee along with spicy and tasty Dal and sweet Churma.
