When is Tulsi Vivah & what is Dev uthani Ekadashi?

This year, both the Tulsi Vivah and Dev Uthani Ekadashi will fall on the 12th of November I. e. Tuesday.
Tulsi Vivah is one of the significant rituals done by the Hindu married women. It marks the end of the monsoon season and the beginning of the Hindu wedding season. Tulsi Vivah is observed after Diwali on the Kartik Shukla Paksha or bright fortnight. According to Hindu mythology, Tulsi Vivah is the marriage of Lord Krishna, a form of Lord Vishnu, and Goddess Tulsi, an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi.

Tulsi Vivah celebration
Tulsi Vivah is basically performed at home by married women. Many women keep a fast till the evening before the performance of Pooja, whereas many women do it without observing a fast. Red Chunri, Dupatta is tied around the Tulsi or Basil plant. Many people also decorate the Tulsi Mandap with flowers and garlands. Diyas are lighted on the Mandap and Aarti is done. Women seek blessings from goddess Tulsi for their happy wedding life and the long lives of their husbands.
Dev Uthani Ekadashi
Dev uthani Ekadashi is also known as Prabodhini Ekadashi. This is the most auspicious day in Hindu mythology. This day is considered to be the day of Lord Vishnu's awakening from a four-month-long slumber, therefore this day is observed with immense devotion. Many people also perform Tulsi Vivah on this auspicious day.
