This year (2024), on the day of Ram Navami, the sun rays entered the temple and applied Tilak on the forehead of Shri Ram Lala, i.e, the Rays of the sun, focused exactly in the middle of Lord Ram Lala's forehead, this phenomenon known as 'Surya Tilak'.
The Surya Tilak of Ram Lala is not exactly a phenomenon but it is a work of science. A team of scientists have made the surprise.
How did science and technology make this event possible?
During this ceremony, the Sun's rays focused on the Ram Lala's forehead at precisely noon. It is considered that the Sun god blessed him by applying a Tilak on Ram Lala's forehead. This ceremony lasts for 5 minutes. An optomechanical system has worked behind it. The whole system is based on an optomechanical system. It has been designed as the sun's rays to converge and focus on the idol's forehead.
According to the scientist of the (CBRI) Central Building Research Institute, the intense heat that is generated when sun rays are concentrated through a system of lenses and Mirrors onto a single point.
