Indian spices are widely known for their goodness, not only from the point of view of taste but also from the point of view of health. Most of the Indian spices contain medicinal particles that's why their excessive use also does not harm the body.
Some such spices are:
* Jeera (Cumin seeds)- Cumin is not only common but also one of the major spices of India. It is used in almost all types of common and special dishes. Cumin has been used as medicine also from ancient times.
Medicinal goodness- It works as antioxidants in the body which help to prevent diseases like cancer, heart disease, and high blood pressure.
* Dhania (Coriander seeds)- Coriander seeds are the major ingredients in each and every Indian Kitchen. It is one of the daily used spices. It is also used to cook every common and special dish.
Medicinal goodness- Coriander seeds help to lower blood sugar and also increase digestion and gut health. it keeps the heart and brain healthy. The regular consumption of coriander may protect our skin.
In Indian Kitchens, Turmeric is basically used to add colour to all dishes. In addition, Indian weddings irrespective of caste are incomplete without turmeric.
Medicinal goodness- Turmeric is mostly preferred for skin treatment. It cures sunburn and dark spots, It also prevents skin cells from clumping and helps heal acne and also many more.
Medicinal goodness- Red chilli powder removes bacteria from the stomach. It helps in the secretion of gastric juice and saliva from the salivary gland in the mouth which aids in digestion and helps increase appetite.
Medicinal goodness- Fenugreek leaves improve heart health and digestion. It is also beneficial for skin and hair and for diabetes. It also prevents gastric disorders.
