What are the three types of Teej and when and how are they celebrated?

This is a Hindu festival which is celebrated throughout India. It is prominently celebrated in the western and northern states of India. There are three types of Teej festival celebrated in India.

Teeth festival is dedicated to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva all these three types of Teej festivals are mostly celebrated by married women.
Hariyali Teej is also called Singhara Teej. It is celebrated on the third day after the New Moon in the month of Saavn/ Shravan. The term 'Hariyali' means the green color. During the month of Sawan everywhere the earth is draped in greenery after summer. Women wear green outfits, green bangles, and green jewelry and apply mehndi on their Palms to represent the greenery of nature as well as to make their married life green like the beautiful nature.
Kajari Teej is celebrated 15 days after Hariyali Teej. Kajari Teej also called Kajli Teej or Bhado Teej. The married women observe fast from dawn to the sunrise of the next day. They keep first even without a drop of water. They keep fast for the long life of their husbands. The fast and worship is dedicated to Lord Shiv and Goddess Parvati.
Haratalika Teej is celebrated on the third day of the Shukla paksha or 15 days after Kajari Teej. On this festival, sand made Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are worshipped. The legend of Hartalika is narrated in front of family members or other devotees.

*Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are worshipped.
* Nirjala fast is observed from dawn to the next Sunrise.
* Green or red traditional costumes are worn. Women wear Shringer with jewellery and Mehendi.
* The festivals are celebrated in the monsoon.
