So let's know the four mysterious things.
Flag of Jagannath temple- The first mysterious one is the flag of the Jagannath temple. The flag hoisted on the pinnacle of this Jagannath temple is changed every day. There is a story behind this too.
It is said that the custom of changing the flag here has been going on for the last 1800 years and if this is not done even for one day, then the temple door will not be open for the next 18 years. Not only this but even more surprising is the waving of this flag. The flag always waves in the opposite direction of the Prevailing wind there. No one has understood this secret yet.
The kitchen of this temple is known as one of the Mega kitchens of India. There are around 500 cooks and more than 300 helpers who work together to prepare Maha Bhog. It is prepared in clay pots and in a Satvik way (without garlic and onion). The water that is used for preparing the Prasad here is taken from two wells known as Ganga and Yamuna.
* Jagannath temple is soundproof- The waves of the sea do not echo inside the Jagannath temple. According to the legend, Hanuman made it soundproof when he got knew that lord Jagannath got disturbed and can't sleep at night due to the sound of the waves.
These four points are not sufficient to express the glory of this Temple but there are many such stories that still images.
