Baba Siddiqui or Baba Ziauddin Siddiqui was 66 years old. He was murdered publicly on Saturday night (twelfth of October 2024).

He was a politician and MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly) in Maharashtra. He joined the Indian National Congress when he was a teenager.

Why was he famous?

He was not only a politician but his image was also as a strong powerful man. He was close to many Bollywood film stars including which the names of Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan come first. Apart from this, he was also well known as he was the FDA (food and civil supplier and Labour) at the time of Chief Minister, Vilasrao Deshmukh. He also served as a Municipal corporator between 1992 and 1997.

Why was he murdered?

 Baba Siddiqui was killed by a sort of gun. Lawrence Bishnoi's gang is involved in this case. Lawrence Bishnoi is an Indian Gangster there are more than two dozen criminal cases against him. He is from a farming family in Punjab. Now he is in custody at Tihar Jail.
