India's first trip to the moon with Chandrayaan-3
By Intimate Viewpoint
Now India has reached the house of its dearest mama, "Chanda Mama"
India has a deeper relationship with the moon beyond any logic. Thus its relationship with the moon is more profound than in other countries.
India's ideology is unique. Since ancient times, India has made the same relationship with all natural things as it makes with its own relatives, like calling Chanda (the Moon) maternal uncle, calling Prakriti (the nature) as a mother, calling rivers as a mother, considering the sun as a god, seas as a god, such consideration and ideologies make India different from other countries.
Therefore, it is an extreme happiness for India to reach the moon.
Objectives of the landing of the Chandrayan-3 on the moon's surface
According to the ISRO, three main objectives of landing Chandrayaan-3 on the moon exist.
* Achieving a soft landing on the surface of the moon.
* Exploring the moon's surface
* Collecting crucial scientific data
The time duration is taken by Chandrayan-3
Chandrayan-3 was launched by ISRO on 14th July 2023, and the lander and rover landed at the lunar South Pole on 23 August 2023 after a 40-day journey.
Thus India became the first country to successfully land spacecraft near the lunar South Pole and the Fourth country to soft land on the moon.
What is the difference between landing and a soft- landing on the moon
A soft landing is any type of aircraft whether rocket or spacecraft landing on the surface of the moon or space without any damage or destruction to the craft or its scientific instrument. Whereas, Chandrayaan-3 mission conditions were different as the spacecraft consisted of an (LM) Lander Module, a (PM) Propulsion Module, and a Rover.
