Before knowing, how narcissism distorts one's image, it's essential to know what Narcissism is?

What is Narcissism?

The synonyms for narcissism are 'ego' and 'pride'. The meaning of Narcissism can be expressed in many ways. You can say it is ill-thought of someone, you can say it is self-worship or a bad mindset and someone called it mental illness as well.

What's happened to Narcissism? 

In narcissism, one thinks of himself as superior and to others, inferior. Those who are a victim of narcissism, never give importance to others' feeling, and neither does they respect the wishes of others. They consider themselves only.

Narcissism spoils one's image, it also slackens down the thinking ability. That's why the person who is suffering from Narcissism distorts his image.

The factors that distort one's image of narcissism

* Self-praising

* Boasting nature

When a person becomes narcissistic, his ability to differentiate between good and bad has been lost. So, he thinks everything is good whatever he does even despite doing wrong as well. He starts to hurt his own people. Not only this, he starts to give importance to himself only. In this way, his image get distorts before them.

 

* To degrade others

In narcissism, it also happens that a person thinks himself superior and others inferior. He always does self-praise and doesn't give importance to others' feelings and desires. Such people always think about themselves. They never think to help others in their difficulties, rather think to take advantage of others' difficult situations.

Such kinds of people never appreciate others' qualities. 

Then what happens?

Gradually he becomes a bad guy in front of other people.

* Self-praising 

Wise people never do self-praise. They never show their qualities and neither boast about them. But a man who is suffering from narcissism always does such wrong things because narcissism spoils their good qualities. It starts suppressing their good qualities in them.

in such a way, a proud man distorts his image.

* Losing of politeness 

Politeness is the identity of a wise and educated man. But those people who have narcissism do not have this precious quality because the proud suppresses their politeness as well.

Such people start considering politeness as a demerit and symbol of weak people. They boast falsely before other people. In this way, a man who is suffering from narcissism becomes a bad man. 

* Boasting nature 

Narcissism turns one's nature into a boasting one. And he becomes an impolite and rude person. 

Therefore, such things proved that narcissism is the enemy of humanity. So we should not let it overpower us.
