6 Reasons for children's refusing to go to school

Why do your children not want to go to school?

Refusing from going to school is not a problem of just one parent but many many parents are there who are suffering from the same problem.

Not only a single reason behind it, rather there are many reasons that can be behind it. But there are 6 main reasons that are often noticed.

* The excessive attachment of children towards their parents 

Today, in most cases, children live in a nuclear family with their parents only. And they do not get anybody else around them. Whereas in a joint family, a child grows among many family members and gets acquainted with other members apart from their parents.

So, as a result, the children of a nuclear family got habituated to their parents' care only. And no other person they like to involve in their life. So, when such children go to school, there is another environment they get. Like,

* Excessive strictness of teachers 

* Following strict orders of teachers

* Sharing everything with classmates and 

* The more irritating, continuously studying for 4 to 5 hours.

These things become unbearable for them. That's why they refuse to go to school.

* The typical School environment

It's a prominent factor for most children for refusing to go to school. The big and famous schools have their own strategies and rules regulations which become suffocative for many children. The little, soft, and delicate children are unable to abide by such harsh rules all of a sudden. They need a little bit of time to be aware of all these rules. But they do not get time. They have to follow all such rules and have to maintain all kinds of strictness from day one. Therefore, different kinds of anxiety, and nervousness, occurred in them.

Then, as a result, they start refusing to go to school.

* Stopping everything they love

Children have their own nature that they don't like to stay in just one place for a long time. Whereas the stiff rules regulation of a school stop all the things that they like to do very much. Like,

* They like drawing and painting with colors but they stopped at school.

* They like jumping and playing but very few are allowed to do all these.

* They like to speak non-stoppable but they have to maintain silence for a long time at school.

* They like to take their favorite snacks frequently and in a short interval but they are not allowed to do such things at school.

For all these reasons too, children avoid going to school.

*Tough syllabus and books

Sometimes children face such problems about whom parents are unknown or can't even think there.

Sometimes the syllabus and books become tough for some children, they feel uneasy reading and writing the books of their own course, and feel nervous, less confident, and hesitant in their class. And they even don't feel free to say such things to anyone. Neither parents are able to understand them.

They though become worried about not going to school but they do not try to know the exact reason.

*Childrens' own nature

Some children have their own nature, some children are less confident, less talkative, less open to others, and less friendly.

Then such children can't able to adjust themselves to the school environment. So, they refuse to go to school.

* Bulling of the class teacher

Sometimes, some class teachers forget that they are dealing with the little, innocent, and delicate children who came from their parents' laps and care. But the class teachers of the big and famous schools have to show off their power and so they ill-treat the children.

Children become afraid to communicate with their class teacher properly. They are afraid to share their problems with their class teachers. Then the environment of the school becomes horrible for them. So they refuse to go to school.

These were a few reasons that are often noticed. But despite these, there may be some other reasons also which can be uncommon as well as severe also. If children are screaming and crying about not going to school in their primary days then it is very common but if any child is refusing suddenly to not going to school then there can be a serious matter behind it.
