The total number of cases till last night is 2,58,092, and deaths are around 400 in the last 24 hours. Delhi reports, 545 omicron cases whereas Maharashtra is the highest of 1,745 cases. West Bengal has almost same the numbers 1,650. In this way, India has 8,219 total omicron cases.

According to doctor Angelique Coetzee: 

Dr. Coetzee says, don't look at the positivity rate or at the daily cases. Look at the rate of people who are going to the ICU. According to her, the rising cases are not a serious matter of concern nor a matter of being panic. One good thing about it is that it is killing the least people more than the former variant. And also there are no needing people to be admitted to the ICU.

Although Omicron is noted as a less severe or less hazard it can be severe and hazard too if the patients did not get vaccinated yet or if the patient simultaneously suffering from two or more diseases.

Arora the chairman of NTAGI, the working group of covid-19 reported 7,42,45,000 teens have received the first dose of coronavirus vaccine. And the second dose will be given after 28 days from the day of the first vaccination.

The Future may be more worrisome next after omicron 

In 2019 coronavirus has arrived. Just in the second year, it arrived again with more violence and aggressiveness. Later than Delta variant came with its full form and killed more and more people. Now omicron is playing its cruel role. But this is not enough because people have to be more alert and prepare for the future. Because the future can be more worrisome and hazardous.

According to the experts, the more aggressive variant is likely to come next to omicron.
