In India, the covid cases increased 10 times faster than before. According to the former records, in India, the covid-19 cases in the first wave took 15 days to increase up to 100000, and in the second wave, took only 8 to 10 days, and in the third wave, it took only four days to reach 1 lakh cases.
Today morning, Delhi reports 22000 cases of covid-19. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal says, There will be no lockdown in Delhi if the people wear masks on a regular basis and would follow all the coronavirus guidelines.
PM Narendra Modi held a chair meeting today to review the increasing rate of covid-19.
Covid booster dose in India
India is starting to give Covid-19 booster dose from today (10th January). The Healthcare workers, and Frontline workers, and people aged 60+ will be given the dose first.
For a booster dose, it is no need for registration again.
Covid-19 omicron all over India
The total number of active cases till the last night was more than 30 crores. In West Bengal, today's highest increased number of cases are 24290, and in Maharashtra 44400.
Covid cases throughout the world
In the UK, the new update says the total number of cases is 141536. And the deaths are 95. In Britain, the number of active cases is 141415, and the number of deaths is 97. The number of deaths has been reduced by 97 from 315.
The cases of omicron covid-19 are increasing faster than previous waves all over the world. Through the death rates are lower than previous records.
Omicron updates in India
Odisha reports last night 13 new omicron cases. Thus the total number of cases of omicron in the state is 72.
The governments of different states implemented new advisories due to control the situation. In many of the states implemented a night curfew, and in some States, the weekend curfew has been implemented. In this way, there is a semi-lockdown type situation all over the country.
