What is the significance of festivals in our life?
By Intimate Viewpoint
All the festivals that we celebrate, have their own individual significance. And they all teach us always something new. They always bring us happiness and make our lives bright and joyful.
Not only the Indian festival but also all the festivals that are celebrated throughout the world are meaningful and fill colours in our life. It is the festivals that remind us of our ancient culture and never let us be separate from our own culture. They teach many important lessons which help us to move on in our lives in difficult situations.
All festivals teach us teamwork
When any festival comes, we have to do a lot of work in our home. So, in such days all the members of a family execute each and every work together. They worked as a team. They share their works among them and execute them by discussing and by taking suggestions of one another.
All works are executed with the agreement with each other. The festivals bring all the family members closer. In case, any member got separated because of any disagreement, it is the festival that joined them together again.
Festivals fill a different kind of enthusiasm into men.
The festivals teach Brotherhood
Any festival whether it is Indian or of any country, teach us brotherhood because we celebrate all festivals together. We greet each other, We share our cuisine with each other. We distribute sweets to our acquainted people whether of any caste, any creed, any religion or from any country.
On a festival day, we remind the originating point of that festival. In this way, we become able to know about our past history and also become able to explain them to the next generation in detail.
We become able to be retained our memory of our past through the festivals. The festivals always joined the hearts and teach unity.
The festivals remove our internal impurities
All festivals create a different kind of atmosphere, in which we forget ourselves and live a new life on that day. We forget all complaints, all pains, all problems, all types of enmity on a festival day.
On that day, there is an indirect connection connects between God and us. And we get to indulge in prayers, worships, and also with the works which relate to the festival.
That's why no other thing comes to our mind. And in this way, we become pure, simple, and good on such days.
It is the festival that makes human life different from other living things. We eat, drink, sleep, awake, and survive lives as same as other living beings.
But other living beings do not celebrate any festival, but we do. In this way, it separates us from other living beings. And makes us Superior.
The children must be explained the importance of festivals
The festivals are important for our lives and we know them very well. But the children of his generation are not ready to accept this truth. They do not take much interest in festivals or rarely get involved in such occasions.
Today's children like the virtual world more than the world of reality. They like to be indulged with phones and with the internet. They do not like to involve in prayers and worships, and with festivals. Therefore, as being a parent, it is our duty to make our children aware of our culture and poojas and festivals.
We must explain to them the advantages of festivals. The good impact of festival also must be explained them properly. we should insist on them to involve in festivals with us and to take part in the festival's work. In this way, we can succeed to explain our culture to them and making them aware of our culture and traditions.
