How to teach good manners to children?

The children are our heritage and the future of the coming era. So it is our greatest responsibility to teach them appropriate and good manners as well as discipline. In the modern era, each parent is concerned about their career and their future so mostly they insist on them to achieve the highest mark on exams and to increase qualification but they have never seen concern about their behavior and nor they have seen ever giving a good moral lesson. Because in these days neither the parents are interested in them nor the children take interest to achieve such qualities.

But in spite of all, the parents should take interest to distill such qualities in them and need to take out different ways for that.

  

The children should be taught good culture and discipline

Good culture and discipline should be taught from their childhood. As being an Indian we should teach them Indian culture along with western culture. Western culture is necessary for their career but the Indian culture is necessary because it is their native culture. So, it is most important to have a good knowledge of their own culture and tradition.

As being a parent it is our responsibility to make them aware about their own culture and tradition so such things should be taught them from their childhood.

In the present era, we always insist on our children to learn the western culture, rarely do we teach them our own culture like worshiping GOD, touching the feet of elders, greeting people in the Indian manner. It is our responsibility to forward the native culture, tradition, and manner to the next generation, so we should teach them to greet their elders by touching their feet, also to touch the feet when we meet any relative or any acquainted person instead of saying good morning, good afternoon, hello, etc. 

Spiritual knowledge also should be given to the children

If we think to teach any new things to the children, we should start it from their childhood. Because this is the right time to teach anything because in childhood their brain is almost blank and sharp also. So in this particular time, they have the ability to absorb any new thing as well as they are enthusiastic to learn new things and to gain new knowledge. 

Spiritual knowledge leads humans to the right path and to improve personality. This is the knowledge that helps humans to choose the right thing from right and wrong.

Therefore the children should be taught the prominent 'Mantras' like the Gayatri Mantra, the Hanuman Chalisa, etc. Not only that, they should be taught such things along with meaning. It is our responsibility to teach them the meaning and benefits of 'Vedas', 'Shastras', The Ramayana, and the Mahabharata.

The children must be taught the benefits of worshiping God

In the modern era, parents do not give importance to teach their children to worship God and to bow their heads in front of God, because such things are valueless for them. So they don't think such things are important for their children.

But we need to know, these are the things which help to grow their children's willing power, and tolerance power and to improve their thinking ability.

Worshiping God gives humans the power to fight with difficulties, and to help to make the right decision in a difficult situation.

The children must be taught how to face the challenges of lives, such things must be taught from their childhood. As being a parent it is our prominent duty to teach them all the lessons which relate to the lives. So that, they could be able to face any difficulties in life.
